Launching Riverstone Soundworks: Simple, Yet Powerful by Design

A new brand direction, streamlined UX, and custom plugins built for music discovery and checkout. Intro

Intro
When Riverstone Soundworks came to us, their ask was refreshingly clear: “We want a simple, yet powerful site that helps artists get heard—and helps listeners buy faster.” Challenge accepted.

The Brief
Riverstone Soundworks needed more than a facelift. They wanted help clarifying brand positioning, refining online direction, and building a site that treated audio as the hero while keeping the path to purchase friction-free.

Our Approach
We started with brand and UX workshops to sharpen messaging and map user journeys—artist discovery, listening, and checkout. From there, we designed a clean interface that puts sound first and decisions second: less clutter, more clarity.

Technical Highlights

  • Custom Stripe Gateway: We built a tailored payment flow to reduce steps and remove distractions. It’s fast, secure, and tuned for conversions.

  • Custom Artist Views: Browsing artists should feel intuitive. We created flexible layouts and filters so listeners can find the right sound quickly.

  • Audio Sample Plugin: Instant previews, minimal clicks. Our lightweight player lets fans sample tracks without losing their place on the page.

Why “Simple, Yet Powerful” Works
Great digital experiences hide complexity behind effortless interactions. By aligning brand, UX, and engineering, we kept the interface calm while the stack does the heavy lifting.

Outcomes

  • Clearer brand story and design system that scales

  • Streamlined discovery-to-checkout flow

  • Faster, more intentional listening experience
